Hi friends,

I’ve rescheduled our first get-together of the year at Don’s Place. I’m looking forward to some great concerts this year. I’m making some changes to help take some of the burden off of my shoulders. I have affiliated with a small non-profit arts organization (SPAMMO). They are providing assistance in the set-up and exposing our music to a wider audience.

I also have pushed back the start time to 6:30 PM to allow for a pot luck supper. Show/music will start at 7:30. Bring a dish to share and BYOB. We need some social time to catch up and get to know each other before the music begins.

When: Saturday, the 10th of April. 6:00 PM. Music starts at 7:30.

Where: Don’s Place. (See directions below)

Requested Donation: $10 for adults.

It is time to get together and have a fun night. In addition to the pot luck, we will have all the usual things. We’ll have some live music. Also: a fire in the pit, marshmallows, hot dogs, and beverages. .

I am really pleased that Wasi, the Third Ward singer/songwriter, is returning to perform for us. Wasi will also invite some friends to join him on stage. Those of you who are familiar with Wasi’s music know that his songs are insightful and very deep.

After his sets, Wasi will open the mike to any musicians who would like to perform. For those of you who are musicians, we will open the microphone (about 10:00) so bring your instruments if you would like. As usual, this is a family affair; so kids, friends, and family are all welcome. Dress is casual for outside.
